WDCO rate card

Paid assessment, impromptu call, and follow-on service rates.

Use this public rate card before starting a Maryland wildlife damage assessment request or calling the published WDCO number. Property-specific wildlife damage calls are paid client routing, not free public support.

$50.00 covers pre-call review plus a scheduled or otherwise authorized WDCO phone/email assessment of up to 30 minutes. Authorized impromptu WDCO assessment calls are billed at $150.00 for up to 30 minutes during business hours (Monday-Friday, 10 AM-10 PM Eastern). After-hours or emergency impromptu calls are double rate: $300.00 for up to 30 minutes.

Maryland WDCO license scope

After-hours / emergency billing

Double-rate impromptu calls are price-tagged before the call path.

Business hours are Monday-Friday, 10 AM-10 PM Eastern. An authorized impromptu call outside that window, or an emergency-rated impromptu call, is $300.00 for up to 30 minutes.

MHIC and workmanship notice

WDCO pricing is not a home-improvement craftsmanship promise.

Maryland Wilderness Company is MHIC exempt. Only merchantability is guaranteed for seven days. If you want improvement work, improvement on WDCO work, or guaranteed craftsmanship, hire a licensed contractor.

DNR or third-party referral

The first brief phone screen is only for routing; property-specific guidance is paid.

If a DNR listing, agency, restaurant, search result, landlord, tenant, or other third party gave you the WDCO number, the call may be screened for immediate danger, bite/scratch/saliva exposure, active animal location, commercial food-service setting, need for onsite response, and official-source routing. A property-specific impromptu phone assessment is billed at $150.00 for up to 30 minutes during business hours, or $300.00 after hours/emergency.

Policy reference

Refund, cancellation, no-show, and rescheduling boundaries are public.

The paid phone assessment fee covers pre-call review, availability, and professional time. It does not guarantee onsite service, animal capture, removal, reopening, sanitation, code clearance, or a particular outcome.

Scheduling priority

Service calls take priority over scheduled phone assessments.

Calls to service, active onsite jobs, urgent field issues, and business operations take priority over scheduled phone assessments. Maryland Wilderness may reschedule a phone assessment if a service call or active job conflicts. Same-day online assessment scheduling is intentionally blocked; the earliest public online appointment is at least 1 day ahead. If Maryland Wilderness offers a reschedule because service-call priority changes availability, the customer may accept the new appointment time. Declining reschedule or being unavailable for the rescheduled time does not create a refund because all sales are final.

Important billing boundary

Calling the number is not a free assessment path.

The published WDCO phone number may be used for paid client routing and authorized service coordination. A property-specific impromptu assessment call proceeds only after payment or authorization and is billed as the Impromptu WDCO Assessment product at $150.00 for up to 30 minutes during business hours. After-hours or emergency impromptu calls are double rate at $300.00 for the same 30-minute block.

Term paths

Use glossary terms to move between wildlife, habitat, and service pages.

Open the floating glossary or these glossary hubs when a term needs context. The hubs collect the vocabulary that helps readers find the right department faster.
