Informational use
Maryland Wilderness publishes educational and editorial content about wildlife, habitats, seasons, and public recreation lands in Western Maryland. The material is offered for general informational use and should not be treated as legal, medical, emergency, or site-specific regulatory advice.
Official sources still control
Park regulations, trail closures, weather warnings, public-land rules, and safety requirements may change without notice. Visitors are responsible for checking official state, federal, and local sources before travel or field activity.
Content ownership
Unless otherwise stated, site design, written content, branding, and original graphic elements belong to Maryland Wilderness Company. Casual sharing with attribution is welcome, but unauthorized copying, scraping, republication, or commercial reuse of protected content is not permitted without permission.

The guide may link to government agencies, partner publications, and other third-party resources. Those links are provided for convenience and context. Maryland Wilderness does not control the content, availability, or policies of external websites.
Visitor responsibilities
Visitors agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site operation, harvest content through automated abuse, or use the guide in a way that violates applicable law or infringes on the rights of others.
