One-Pot Tomato Spinach Pasta

Ingredients

2 cups pasta
1 can beans, chickpeas, or shelf-stable protein
2 cups chopped vegetables or dehydrated vegetables
2 tablespoons olive oil or powdered coconut milk
2 to 3 cups water or broth
Spice packet, curry powder, or tomato paste
Crunchy topping, lemon, or hot sauce packet

Method

Stage ingredients by cook time before lighting the stove or fire.
Bring the measured water, broth, or pan to heat and add the longest-cooking ingredient first.
Stir steadily enough to prevent scorching, especially when the pot is narrow or the stove is windy.
Finish with the quick ingredients, season, and let the meal stand for a minute before serving.
Close food containers, clean the work area, and move trash to secure storage right away.
